Commercial Multi-Engine Add-On Columbus, Georgia
Have a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and need a Multi-Engine Add-On endorsement in Columbus, Georgia? Head to Paragon Flight in LaGrange, GA, for this type of training and any other that you might need in your aviation pursuits.
Multi-Engine Flight Training
Commercial pilots without multi-engine credentials have limited job opportunities. If you want to fly more powerful aircraft, you’ll have to earn a multi-engine add-on to go with your existing commercial pilot’s license. The team at Paragon Flight offers a streamlined program that will allow you to earn this endorsement in about a week.
While this course doesn’t have a written evaluation, it will culminate in an FAA checkride. Our training will ensure that you’re prepared for the verbal and practical assessment entailed in this evaluation. After completing the checkride successfully, you’ll have a multi-engine add-on endorsement as part of your pilot’s credentials.
Multi-engine training will include study of the aerodynamics of multi-engine aircraft, takeoff and landing procedures, go-arounds, emergency procedures, single-engine operations during all phases of flight, pre- and post-flight requirements, and airport procedures. When an aircraft has two engines rather than one, it’s critical to learn how the differences will display themselves in realistic settings.
The program will include about 5 hours of ground training regarding multi-engine aircraft and how they handle, 11 ½ hours of practical training in our new and well-kept aircraft, and 1 ½ hours for the FAA checkride. We also offer a 15 hour course if you believe you’ll need more time.
Practical training during our course will take part in our Piper PA-44 Seminole. This aircraft is the industry standard for twin-engine training. It has an all-metal construction and safe, predictable handling. Like the rest of our fleet, it is equipped with Glass Cockpit technology and advanced avionics.
